Message to Society members from the incoming editors of the Journal of Educational Administration and History

Dear History of Education Society member,

We are writing to let you know that from January 2008 we will be joint editors of the Journal of Educational Administration and History. We are delighted to be taking on this role and are privileged to be following Professor Roy Lowe in leading this important journal for our field. JEAH is a well established journal and is 40 years old in 2008. We are writing to let you know that the Journal accepts papers that are located in the area of educational administration, which we regard as embracing education policy, leadership and management. The Journal is interested in papers that place current issues into immediate and historical contexts. We are now accepting papers for Vol 40 to be published in 2008, and if you are interested in sending a paper then please do so by emailing it as an attachment to myself at the University of Manchester (helen.gunter@manchester.ac.uk). Details of the journal are available at the website: www.tandf.co.uk/journals.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Helen Gunter and Tanya Fitzgerald.
